What we look for…

Our team is seeking an acquisition agent who is a self-starter and has demonstrated success in bringing a level of comfort to all parties involved during the acquisition process.  The primary focus for this role will be to provide effective public consultation and acquisition of surface rights, demonstrated in an ethical and professional manner.

The successful candidate will immediately participate in the public engagement and acquisition processes on new and current projects in Evolve’s US Operations.  We are looking for industry professionals in the state of Texas to join our growing and dynamic team!

What would set you apart…

  • Minimum of 2 years experienced in Land Acquisition requested, not required but highly recommended – we offer a streamlined training program to support professional career transition for the right candidates
  • Willingness to travel to new areas and learn new industries related to Right-of-Way and Real Estate in rural areas of North America
  • Strong competencies relating to reviewing legal contracts and ability to learn new agreements supporting renewable energy projects
  • Solution driven and ability to find common ground to support mutually beneficial agreements when presented with challenging scenarios among external stakeholders
  • Post-secondary education – requested not required
  • Strong consultation and negotiation skills when engaging stakeholders to facilitate land access
  • Experienced with a variety of acquisition agreements required to secure land access
  • Ability to organize projects and work independently for periods
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications including Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Active member of the IRWA– requested not required
